A documentary about 1970s Chicago Bull, Norm Van Lier

He played basketball like it was life or death.
He lived a crazy life and raised a family.
But there were always things he wanted that he’d
never achieve before he died.

The Bullfighter will follow the tumultuous life of Norm Van Lier.
Through interviews and footage, we will step back into the 60s and 70s.

As a 14-year-old kid living in a small town near Pittsburgh, he used to sneak away from his hometown on a bus to Harlem. He wanted to learn to play ball with kids who knew the game, and he did. He learned street ball and used those skills every day of the rest of his life.
